Job Overview

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with internal teams on contract review, legal research, commercial advisory and other business-related legal matters. This role is suitable for a junior to mid-level lawyer looking to build broader in-house experience within an international and technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, vendor agreements, licensing agreements and other business contracts.
• Identify key legal and contractual risks and provide practical recommendations.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and be responsible for internal corporate governance frameworks, policies, and documents.
• Conduct legal research on commercial, regulatory and business-related matters across relevant jurisdictions.
• Support internal stakeholders on day-to-day contractual and general legal matters.
• Support new business initiatives, partnerships, products and market expansion from a legal perspective.
• Advise on cross-border regulatory frameworks
• Assist with matters relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection and technology-related compliance agreements through due diligence.
• Maintain legal documents, contract templates and records.
• Support legal projects, trainings, and other ad hoc legal work as required.

Requirements

• A recognized law degree (LLB or JD) with admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
• Familiarity with one or more areas: corporate, corporate secretarial, corporate governance, commercial contract drafting, intellectual property, regulatory & compliance, cross-border legal work, dispute resolution.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts in a commercial environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple matters and priorities.
• Ability to work well in a team, with a sense of maturity, and a go-getter attitude.
